You don't have to manually download the jqt binaries. Just run install
'qtide' from one of the front ends (console/jhs). I haven't tried doing it
from the qtide, it might work but I could also imagine that it might
complain about trying to write over files that are in use.

I think it is good to call attention to situations where there is possible
confusion. It is often hard for those in the midst of doing the work to see
where the potential for confusion may arise. Once you've worked out the
issue and how to resolve it, it would be helpful to update the wiki with
instructions that you think would be clearer for others. We're all in this
together!
