This refers to the qtide binaries - The linux qtide binaries were just updated to 1.09. The win/mac binaries were updated earlier.
In your about, you have Qt IDE at 1.07, so these can be updated, see http://www.jsoftware.com/jwiki/Guides/Qt%20IDE/Install#Upgrade . Make sure you close down any QtIDE session, then run the update in jconsole. The installation zips have not been updated recently. As per the j801 page, they only include the base system for jconsole and JHS. --- Ah, just saw your new message, thanks, but the above is still relevant. Essentially, there is stripped down base system (as in J7), and the Qt IDE is then an addition, and is installed and updated separately from the base system.
