Yes, that is literally for the session only. To change the default, go to
Edit|Configure|Qt IDE and update the config file, e.g. set

FontFamily=Lucida Console

Please do that, and then restart J and check that the font has been
correctly applied.

I suspect as before that you originally used the IDE when we had not got
the fonts properly setup, and hope that this change gets you back to a
working state.
