I had the same problem and found this:

http://mail-archives.apache.org/mod_mbox/subversion-users/201209.mbox/%[email protected]%3E

There seem to be a list of reserved file names that cannot be written on windows with any extension, including CON.

The svn checkout addons works fine for me, so I doubt there is anything
wrong with the repo itself.

Are you using the command line or tortoise svn? If the latter, please try
from the command line. If the problem is with tortoise svn, then likely its
configuration is broken.

As Bill says, you only need checkout trunk.

The third time, to a USB drive, also failed, and I am unable to access
SVN.

I am trying to check out

http://www.jsoftware.com/svn/addons

It seems to get the source in \trunk, and starts building \tags. It
fails at

C:\Addons\tags\j602\math\mt\0.4\con.ijs

I have repeated this 3 times on different file systems.

Does checkout afresh help?

It looked like a hashing error, so I tried creating the directory on a
different disk. Same error. This is baffling.

When I go to the folder of the error, and try to rename any file to
'con.ijs', I get an error 'file exists'. But it doesn't show up, even
though I am showing hidden files. And if I try to check the length in
J, I get a file access error.

I am trying to move printf to J801, where it should work without
problems.

I added 'J801' to manifest.ijs, but now I think it should have been
'j801'.

But somehow printf.ijs got locked. So I deleted it & am trying to
rebuild my view of the addons. I created a folder and tried to SVN
Update.

Now it fails in the middle of update, saying

Can't move 'C:\Addon\.svn\tmp\svn-6C2E5C50' to
'C:\Addon\tags\j602\math\mt\0.4\con.ijs': Cannot create a file when
that
file already exists.

I get the same error when I run 'Clean Up'.

How can I resstablish my view of the addons?
