If I run the script in JQt
wdinfo_jqtide_ =: smoutput
load 'plot'
plot (i.10);i. 3 10
plot 1 2 3 4; 1 2 3 2 1
I always end up with a word handler window from which I can only escape by
going to Task Manager and cancelling the session
The problem occurs with or without the first line in the script.

wdinfo_jqtide_=: smoutput
to force wdhandler report errors to Term.
