Well, I went to dinner and left my computer running and jqt stopped after 35 minutes. The problem with J06 was that I had forgotten I intertwined it in such a way with J801 that they both use the same startup, which was calling the corrupted script! So that is what the problem boils down to. Thanks Dan and Mike for your attention.
