When I want to teach something I find the built in lab system the best. It is easy to learn and use.
Take any ijt file. Make a copy of it. Place it in the same folder as the original. Begin slowly to change the text in the copy and go into the lab system to see how your changes look. You can go through the labs and find the structure you like. For the student it is also very easy to use. You do not need to do any very advanced things at first. You can of course find quite advanced structures and make the yours.
