This page is for use after J8.04 comes out. Some features have been added to the debugger and will be added (I hope & believe) to wd to allow a lab such as I envision.

Then, you wouldn't do

dissect '3 : ''(+/ y) % # y'' i.7'

instead, the verb would be

test =: 3 : 0
(+/ y) % # y
)

test i. 7

and the lab will automatically dissect the line (+/ y) % # y .

Details after the new features are available.

sorry for pre-beta,

looks interesting, but I think to point out one of the founding ideas:

"Don't write tacit code. It will overwhelm a beginner."

if you run,

dissect '3 : ''(+/ y) % # y'' i.7'
it is far less informative than the tacit version.

From the sounds of jbypointandclick dissect is prominant in the UI, and may
facilitate one-line-at-a-time programming, or it could have practical
productivity uses. Even if focused on instruction, wouldn't it assist tacit
understanding the most?
