Once again with latest j805 beta under OS X El Capitan (10.11.6), I cannot open
jcon.appby the usual route of double-clicking (with right-click first time to
circumvent usual security restrictions on OS X, nor from the command line with

  open /Applications/j64-805/jcon.app

or even

  sudo open /Applications/j64-805/jcon.app

I get the pop-up error window:

“jconsole is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash.

I can, however, open jconsole from command line...

   /Applications/j64-805/bin/jconsole

… which is a ridiculous thing to have to do!

On the other hand, jqt.app opens just fine by double-clicking.

Also jhs.app opens just fine by double-clicking — but only after going through
the rigamarole of going into bin and double-clicking the jqt executable, which
brings up the little dialog to allow opening something from an unidentified
developer.

What’s wrong with jcon.app or bin/jconsole?

(In response to a post by Eric, I did send some diagnostic information directly
to him, but I’ve heard nothing back.)
