For the Mac, the link to binaries is - 

http://www.jsoftware.com/download/jengine/j901-beta/darwin/j64/

For a nonavx version you want the  libj.dylib  binary (not the  libjavx.dylib  
one) 

The other things in there libtsdll.dylib and jconsole should be the same as in 
the default install - but I got new copies of them into my Linux box, doubt 
that was needed.

Hope this helps!  I think the next engine upgrade will be much easier - so 
that's the silver lining in this.
