The arrow keys work for me when I use j903's jconsole.

So I think https://github.com/jsoftware/jsource/blob/master/jsrc/jconsole.c#L170
is being used, instead of line 173

Looking at the libedit being used, it's precompiled, so I cannot read
it. (This is somewhat worrying from my perspective, given the variety
of potential platform-specific issues that libedit might have to cope
with.)

It might be wise to use something like https://github.com/AmokHuginnsson/replxx?
