There's been a lot of progress done in beta u.
Available for all platforms (except CE), it combines resolutions
for previously reported issues in a number of recent betas.
All those issues were tested and found to be fixed both
in Windows and Java.

There are a number of important consistency enhancements
between Windows, Java and Mac. So J code for graphics and UI
is now much more platform neutral.

There are couple of minor issues related to the resolved problems,
but the convergence rate is very high.

 * On Mac, the Y coordinate for glrect is shifted by -1. Windows Java is OK.
   See the same focus.ijs or box positioning in Configure dialog.
   (Minor: Box positioning is colored differently: Win light/dark gray;
   Win-Java white/gray; Mac all grark gray.)

 * glpaint should not depend on glwindoworg. Now it is necessary
   to set glwidoworg to 0 0 for glpaint to work correctly.

   (as opposed to glqpixels/glqpixels which should depend on windoworg;
   moreover glpixels should be safely clipped by boundaries of the canvas and
   glclip rectangle(s) -- please confirm.
   how will glqpixels behave outside of canvas?)
