The following are minor points in the scheme of things, but in the
interests of improving the quality of "the J experience", I thought I'd
document them nevertheless:

The code on the following page contains old (pre-J601) style x. & y.
references.
http://www.jsoftware.com/help/user/stdin_stdout.htm

http://www.jsoftware.com/help/user/sys_main.htm
I don't think the section under "Lib scripts" is currently accurate.
Under "Lib scripts", jadelib & loadlib are listed, but don't exist in
the ~system\main directory
Should libpath, sysenv & break be included as "Lib scripts"?

The following scripts are present in the directory but not listed under
"Other scripts":
coutil
map
printf
unicode

http://www.jsoftware.com/help/user/hints.htm
"The Tab key can be used to find a control covered by another control."
Doesn't work! Maybe the statement needs to be removed until such time as
the functionality is restored?

Page heading is <H2> rather than the <H1> used for the equivalent
heading on previous and following pages.

The order of the pages as you progress through the user manual using the
'>>' link is confusing to me in places.
In particular the http://www.jsoftware.com/help/user/sys_scripts.htm
page is a table of contents for the script library, but the pages that
it links to don't follow after it. Instead they are "located" earlier in
the progression after the
http://www.jsoftware.com/help/user/libraries.htm page, but before the
first page linked from the /help/user/libraries.htm table of contents
(/help/user/dir_layout.htm).

The current order is as follows:

/help/user/libraries.htm
/help/user/sys_main.htm
/help/user/sys_packages.htm
/help/user/sys_classes.htm
/help/user/sys_extras.htm
/help/user/sys_examples.htm
/help/user/user.htm
/help/user/temp.htm
/help/user/dir_layout.htm
/help/user/sys_scripts.htm
/help/user/scriptdoc.htm
Pages documenting individual scripts in alphabetical order
/help/user/sys_lista.htm
/help/user/sys_lists.htm

I'd find the following progression more logical.

1. /help/user/libraries.htm
2. /help/user/dir_layout.htm
3. /help/user/scriptdoc.htm
4. /help/user/sys_scripts.htm (This page could be removed completely
with the links it contains being relocated to the dir_layout.htm page)
5. /help/user/sys_main.htm (the scripts listed on this page & the next
4 should ideally link to the relevant script documentation page)
6. /help/user/sys_packages.htm
7. /help/user/sys_classes.htm
8. /help/user/sys_extras.htm
9. /help/user/sys_examples.htm
10. /help/user/user.htm
11. /help/user/temp.htm
12. /help/user/sys_lists.htm (would be good to add a "Description"
column to the table.)
13. /help/user/sys_lista.htm
14... Pages documenting individual scripts in alphabetical order

(although I can understand the argument that the sys_lists.htm &
sys_lista.htm pages are indexes & so should come after the pages
documenting the individual scripts)

If the maintenance of all these pages was too labour intensive, it would
be possible to delete pages 4-11 by expanding pages 2 & 12 without
losing much (if any) information or functionality as follows:

 * Move the first four links on page 4 to the same text that exists on
page 2 as described above).
 * Expand the directory descriptions on page 2 with info from pages
5-11.
 * Move the the script descriptions on pages 5-9 to the suggested
"Description" column on page 12.

Obviously there are a number of other things to do with installing
J/starting J/Directory paths in J etc, that will need updating but are
best left until later in the beta process when they have stabilized
more.
