They actually worked around the SDK license by running code on their web 
servers.

Which is what the web based J7 JFE is trying to achieved.

Oh man ... somebody (mac dev) got to sit down and create a client APP, pay the 
100USD entry to App Store, host the J7 web server (or provide an installer for 
private hosting ... ala AirVideo <http://www.inmethod.com> ) and submit the 
app.  

Realistically, it would still take some time since everything is dependent to 
the release of J7 ... but when it does ... ;)
