Thanks for reporting this ancient style bug that has cropped up again. jhs.bat and jbreak.bat both need the fix that was sorted out in j602.
"%~dp0jconsole" ~addons/ide/jhs/core.ijs -js " jhs 65001 0 " "%~dp0jconsole" -js break'' exit[0 Note the quotes around the command. I think the icons themselves are ok once the bat files are fixed. I wonder if the old bug has snuck back in the unix shell scripts? I really should have blanks in my user path. Or test the shared install which gets blanks for free. I suspect this a spaces-in-the-path issue (in other words the path > to jhs.bat needs to be enclosed in double quotes). > > I can successfully start jhs if I start a cmd session, change directory to > j701\bin and run: > jconsole ~addons/ide/jhs/core.ijs -js " jhs 65001 0 " > > > From: Eric Iverson > > Sent: Wednesday, 9 June 2010 10:23 > > > > New betas for all platforms are available at the web download beta > > page. > > > > The page gives an overview of the changes. > > > > This beta puts Jconsole, JHS, JAL, J Engine, new scripts, and new > > folder > > structure into traditional install packages. > > ---------------------------------------------------------------------- > For information about J forums see http://www.jsoftware.com/forums.htm > ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For information about J forums see http://www.jsoftware.com/forums.htm
