I can confirm the reported behaviour jdemo5(plot) against Firefox
on osx 10.3.9, ie., depends on plugins. With Opera, the behaviour
is a bit more obscure: entering a new expression and clicking on the
"svg"/"pdf" buttons will never update the initial plot image in the
browser. New files with proper contents are created, though, in
the ~temp/{pdf,svg}/plot.{pdf,svg}
Ah, I just found out that a Page Reload will show the new svg plot.
Hitting the pdf button will clear the image (and create the file).
One things which irks me to no end about the betas is their skimpy
documentation. If the various pages had better notes how the were
supposed to be used, it would make helping you with the testing
much easier.
BAD: Just throwing four buttons at me as on the JAL page or the JUM page.
GOOD: The recent instructions how to deal with the JUM page.
