Clearly there is a problem, but I don't see that a login button is the solution.
Does the enter key on your HTC work with other browser pages (e.g. gmail or any page that has a text input field)? Edit your jhs.cfg to set PASS=:'' and see if your HTC enter key works on the ijx input field.
