I found that linux jconsole in both j7 and j6 seemed only allow input
latin scripts. In particular, it disallow cyrillic and chinese.
'ldd jconsole' shows
linux-vdso.so.1 => (0x00007fff1fff3000)
libdl.so.2 => /lib/libdl.so.2 (0x00007f0eb2fd6000)
libncurses.so.5 => /lib/libncurses.so.5 (0x00007f0eb2d90000)
libc.so.6 => /lib/libc.so.6 (0x00007f0eb2a2e000)
/lib64/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2 (0x00007f0eb31f7000)
If the ncurses is the culprit, will it be possible to link with the
wide character version - ncursesw ?
