A new JHS JAL update is available. Lots of rough edges but I think it worth a look by those who have followed so far.
The JHS ijx window is more like the J602 ijx window (except it is html). ijx has a fixed menu at the top and the rest is contenteditable html. At the bottom, type a line and press enter to run the sentence. Scroll up the log and press enter to run an old line sentence. Unlike j602 an enter always runs the line at the caret and does not recall old lines for editing. Use cut/paste if that is what you want. ctrl+shift+up/dn arrows recall lines. Run jgcx'' to see the some google charts. Firefox logged input lines are missing the prompt spaces. This works in other browsers and probably will eventually work in FF. Meanwhile it is not too much of a nuisance. Bullet used for empty prompts. There are lots of problems with empty nodes and doubly so with contenteditable. I have so far been unable to get an empty prompt (e.g. used in f=: 3 : 0) to work properly across browsers. As a kludge for now an empty prompt is treated as a bullet and it is dropped from the resulting input. See help for additional info. Feedback is most welcome. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For information about J forums see http://www.jsoftware.com/forums.htm
