In my opinion the user experience (menu names, window names, available 
commands) between IDEs should be as similar as possible.

IMO there will ideally be a common language for this too -the holy grail of 
"write once, run everywhere". I don't know how difficult it will be, but I 
suspect that the "native" gtk and jhs form creation methods need to become more 
solid before building another level of abstraction on top of them.
