I don't know. Can you just save those webpages and view them offlined? My experience with glade designer is very limited and I have never looked at those tutorial.
I guess you need not worry programming in the beginning. Just use point and click to draw some forms should already be a good start. Then study the minesweeper as as example of how to use the output file of glade designer.
