All G5 (e.g. Power Mac G5, iMac G5) have a IBM PowerPC G5 CPU, which is 64-bit cpu. Mac OS X v10.5 "Leopard" supports G5s, including support for 64-bits apps. Not sure about 10.4 and 10.3. ~ Gilles P.S.
