ok, I'll give it a try. If it works, I reckon a Wiki will be required to educate users on how to configure/test their PC will respond to WOL packets.
I found DSL reports FAQ very helpful, but it still took me a couple of hours of trial and error to get this working. And that was with a modern PC/NIC that supported WOL without any extra cables.
