Hi, I'm noticing the same since I upgraded to the latest nightly of 6.2, the entry for Perl under the processor goes up and the music starts to skip and pause, I'm running on a Mac Mini under OSX 10.4.2, I hadalso installed the LastFM Plugin and SlimScrobbler since the upgrade so I will uninstall them and see if that makes a difference.
