Thanks for the suggestions. Yes, I do see the 'use iTunes' option (and have it enabled) and I enabled all kinds of logging, including d_import and d_itunes. Slimserver does not detect the itunes xml file, not the one I modified and not the original one, not even when I let slimserver try to detect it by itself. Guess the 'use iTunes' option still isn't really supported under linux.
