The only way that I know to tell if the scan completes is when the software tells me how many artists and albums that I have.
Is there another way? I did the following, removed 6.1.1, rebooted the system, installed 6.2.2 with version 29, manually told the system to scan the software. When it told me how many artists and albums I had, I attempted to play a cd that was ripped. Even though it started ok, once it got to the end of the first song, it started to slow down/stutter. I was even worse during playback of the second song.
