Description of the symptom * Does it happen immediately upon playing? No...usually after a few songs but can be as long as 10-15 songs * Does it happen every time, or does it come and go? Pretty much on every session. If you let it suffer long enough, it sometimes recovers for a while. My G5 (where the server is running) is hardwire to the WGR614 but the Squeezebox is wireless * How heavy is your network traffic? It doesn't seem to matter. I go out of my way to ensure that traffic is low and the G5 was recently rebooted to clear any memory leaks ** Wireless? See above ** Wired? ** Anything else unusual about your network? Nope * What kind of wireless security are you using? Daily versions of 6.2.2. I have tried several over the last month. It doesn't chance anything. The lastest is March 8th * What oS? OS X 10.4.5 * What kind of CPU? Dual 2.0ghz G5 * How much RAM? 1.5 GB * Is the PC heavily loaded? No. Plenty of disk and low user usage during the problems * What kind of PC network card are you using to connect to the WAP/router? (if built-in, what kind of PC?) Built in ethernet * What format(s) are you using? Did you notice any difference between formats? No diff that I have been able to sort out. It feels like certain songs tend to get it more. Interestly, internet radio works flawlessly without stuttering.
