Unlikely to be the same firmware issue most people are having. The main problem I am tracking only affects some Squeezebox3s on a wireless network connection, which is much different from a slimp3 setup. :)
What kind of files are you playing? I assume it's worked previously since it's a slimp3 and you didn't buy it from us recently.
