Over the last day I have seen the perl.exe maintain a steady 12% of CPU usage, with all players idle/power off. Normally this is much lower (0-1%).
I just noticed that if I close my browser, the perl.exe CPU drops down to 0%. I'm using 6.5b1 with the old unsupported slimserver.exe with the Fishbone skin - so I'll experiment with IE6, Firefox and other skins.
