The vast majority of SlimServer users don't run *nix desktops. Even
among those running Linux servers, the majority run Windows desktops
and the likelihood is that they'll wish to view a text-based log file
in Notepad.
Like I said, unless CRLF newlines give *nix and Mac apps problems,
they
should be the standard line delimitter, in deference to the customer
base. If there are problems with using CRLF in all cases then it
should be a user configurable option.
Since all log output goes through Slim::Utils::Misc::msg() I think it
would be a simple matter of putting in the correct line-ending for
the current OS. Patches anyone? :)
