Thanks Andy, I'm now trying with those settings, although I've excluded
the bind-address as I like to be able to access the database from
another machine (for querying statistics from time to time). I've also
gone with user permissions, so I not used skip-grant-tables. As for the
innodb, I thought this was on by default for mysql.
