I've been thinking of writing a new plugin that allows better selection of now playing screen items from the player UI. I know there's a plugin alternative already for a different now playing screen, but I don't think it's easy to adjust the display on the fly. Ultimately, I'd like to configure a few layout formats, and select between these easily from the player UI.
(I guess you're talking about MusicInfoSCR) I've been thinking about this, too. Or even some kind of changing the settings in intervals. But why re-invent the weel? Feel free to add these features to MusicInfoSCR - patches always welcome :-)
One of the layout formats I'd like would be one that would display the current time instead of the now playing time remaining.
Use the CURRTIME tag.
Just ideas at the moment...!
