Tried a 6.5 nightly again. At first, it seemed to be fixed. Then I played some more, and I found what's wrong.
When streaming WAV as WAV (unticking WAV->FLAC in File Types) this is what's happening. WHen leaving this option, it probably converted to FLAC to save bandwidth and then the SB plays it the way it should. So there's a defenite problem with raw high quality WAV playing. I found this also a while back, probably same issue: I use WAV for higer bitrates (48Khz/24bit) as there's also a problem when setting FLAC->WAV option only in server file types, as i found that the sound was slightly more "relaxed" or "smoother" (don't know how to express that) when using letting server decompress the stream instead of the SB. reverting back to 6.3 now.
