My scanner.exe process has been running for about 24 hours or more now. It even restarts after a reboot, or restarting the Slim Service from Services.msc
Please kill the scanner.exe from the Task Manager, but not SlimServer. Then open a cmd window, and change to the SlimServer\server directory.
