Can someone explain to me or point me in the direction of a primer or wiki on Slimserver and its interaction with UPnP? I didn't exactly understand what you mean when you say 'we only look for other MediaServer on the network'. Does slimserver make the UPnP media server library accessible to the squeezeboxen? Is this similar to the way that slimserver uses the iTunes XML library? In the future would slimserver possibly also work as a UPnP media server, and could the Squeezeboxen serve as UPnP renderers? Would it be possible for an external UPnP control point to control media on the Squeezeboxen either through or independently of slimserver?
