Ahah, so that's why it didn't work! I put a semicolon into the textbox, hit update, and lo, everything worked as expected. I think I'll stick to a value-in-one tag setup, since I have read the thread ceejay mentioned about problems MP3tag had with multiple tags. (For reference of anyone else reading this it is at: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=29005) Now I guess there's no technical excuse for me not to crack open that difficult problem of genre classification for all the CDs I have of musicians playing odd fusions of this and that and the other thing.
