I downloaded the build from Thursday night, 10652 (since the Friday night build didn't produce a Windows version). Installed, rescanned (creating database from scratch), and have been using since then with no recurrence of this problem. I marked the bug resolved - let SS folks know if you're still seeing the problem in this latest build.
I'm going to keep watching for it to reappear. It seemed to take a few days to start showing up for 6.5.0, I have no idea why.
