The PC running slimserver is a dedicated file-server, tucked away in my
small closet.

Hardware: MSI Nforce 3 based mobo (dont remember the model number),
AMD Athlon 3000+ 1,81GHz CPU, 1GB RAM, 100MBit wired network
connection. The OS + software is installed on a Seagate ST310014A
PATA 10GB hard drive.

Theres 2 additional disks with FLACs of
my own cd collection, and MP3`s.All FLACs and MP3s have their
filename in this fasion:TRACK - ARTIST - ALBUM - SONGNAME
and all files are batch-tagged by MANIAC TOOLS mp3tag software
accorging to the filenames.the genres are applied manually
using the same software.

OS:Windows XP Home SP2 with all critical updates.
Installed software: Slimserver, Firefox, ISide (filecompare sw),
Active SMART, Registry Mechanic, OO Defrag, UltraVNC and Zonealarm.

Before installing upgraded slimserver, I fully removed the
old one.The version Im running now is 6.5.1 - 11234 - Windows XP - EN -
cp1252.By default, all plugins were enabled, but they are
now disabled.no difference.

Here is a list that shows loading time for each genre, how slimserver
reports albums/songs/artists for each genre
(home/genres/actual genre) (almost all albums/song numbers are wrong),
and how it reports albums/songs/artists inside home/genres/actual
genre/all albums (correct).I use Firefox V1.5 on my work pc on
the same local network as the file-server, but I get the same
results if I browse locally on the server, or even use IE V7.

total:
Your music library contains 1505 albums with 15357 songs by 598 artists
(correct).

I should mention that clicking all albums inside a genre is
pretty fast everywhere.

Why are almost all the albums/songs numbers in the third column
screwed up, and why the strange loading times?
