I value minor bug fixes so I install the 6.5.x nightly on regular basis. I tried installing "SlimServer_6.5_v2007-03-17.exe" earlier today and found out that SlimTray.exe was broken.
(1) I have chosen "Do Not Startup Automatically" during installation. Immediately after installation, SlimTray turned into "SlimServer running" status. Even when Slim.exe wasn't running. (2) Because the status of the SlimTray in the Windows tray bar was persistently in "SlimServer running mode", I could not right-click and select "Start SlimServer". Clicking "Stop SlimServer" did not change SlimTray status. (3) I had to start SlimServer manually by running slim.exe at the command prompt. (4) Uninstalled and rollback to older version. SlimTray.exe worked perfectly again. (5) The last working SlimServer release on my WinXP SP2 PC was "SlimServer_6.5_v2007-02-23.exe" Please share if you have similar observation.
