There is a problem with SlimTray leaking memory which I think is related
to the process detection code. I built a new version of SlimTray and
have posted bug fixes to bugzilla. besides leaking memory I had no
problem with SlimTray Slimserver 6.5.2 on 24Feb - I may try a later
version to see if I can reproduce the OP symptoms.

Although in most cases Slm.exe is started as a service - IIRC in the
above configuration, slim.exe is started as a process and not a service
- this may be part of the problem as permissions etc may differ.
