I gave it a quick try, and first impression is that it's going to be too flashy for my liking. It seems slow and unresponsive compared to what I am used to in 6.5 (I use fishbone skin), and there's too much wasted space.
Here's a few more specific comments: 1. Why have a header and footer? Can't the Help, Player settings and Server settings be added to the top, and save the space at the bottom? 2. Resizing the screen on the setup wizard causes the player panel on the left (that shouldn't be there during initial setup, I guess) to be equally distributed horizontally, so the wizard panel can become a little small. Then, after setup is complete, you get two now playing panels! 3. A splitter control between the Home Browser panel and the Now Playing panel would be nice - if I expand window size to see more album artwork when browsing, the Now Playing area is made larger than needed. Also, if window size is reduced, the now playing panel goes a bit mad (probably needs a minimum size). 4. Mouse hover over browse methods is fairly responsive, but over album artwork browsing, you have to pause over artwork for the play/add options to come active. 5. Can't see the point of rounded corners and borders. The white border isn't needed, the outer darker blue isn't really needed. I'll probably stick with Fishbone (hope it's still going to be supported in 7, otherwise classic), and Moose for PC browsing.
