Just as an added data point, I had added "PLAY ALL" support at the top level of SS menus pushed to Jive a few weeks ago, and found that not only did it fail to add any added benefit for anyone with a library of significant size, it could readily cause serious use issues with an inadvertent click of the wrong button (i.e., adding 12000+ songs to a playlist by mistake, effectively grinding SS to a halt for several seconds).
I removed it completely from the top browse levels for Jive. It still has value, however, at lower levels. I'd actually be keen on seeing "Play All" disappear from top level stuff on the web interface as well.
