Well, at least I can find the correct browser window quickly, as no other web
site I know uses a colour scheme anything like this. There's probably a reason
why... :)
Looking at the layer in the UI from outer-edge to the inside, we've got:
- a grey background, with rounded corners. The only reason for the outer grey
background is to show off some rounded corners? Nothing in this, except
- a black-to-greeny-blue area with rounded corners.
- Inside this are some logos, the player selector, the main music browser
panel and Help and Settings icons. The icons at the bottom seems like a waste
to me. Those buttons could be on the top between the SqueezeCenter and players
drop-down, giving an extra 10% vertical space for browsing the music
collection/viewing the current playlist.
I don't really see the point of nice rounded corners for dark grey on black, as
most people won't be able to see them.
The rounded corners for the highlighting are filled in with a slightly
different colour, so doesn't seem much point having rounded corners there any
more. White text on pale blue isn't generally a good idea for readability
either.
