I've said that since the first versions. The outer background is a bit gratuitous, and helps to make the interface busier than need be. > Nothing in this, except > - a black-to-greeny-blue area with rounded corners. I don't mind the fade, but it would better serve as the page background. > Inside this are some logos, the player selector, the main music browser > panel and Help and Settings icons. There needs to be some sort of masthead, so the space used at the top doesn't bother so much. But you're right about the bottom. That's a lot of space to waste on just the Help and Settings buttons. > I don't really see the point of nice rounded corners for dark grey on > black, as most people won't be able to see them. Those corners do no harm, but if most people can't see them, then they should choose different colors. > The rounded corners for the highlighting are filled in with a slightly > different colour, so doesn't seem much point having rounded corners > there any more. As KDF pointed out, parts of the newest look are still a work in progress, so this will likely change. -- JJZolx Jim ------------------------------------------------------------------------ JJZolx's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=39957 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/beta
