I have some "Various Artists" albums ripped to m4a files. SC does not recognize them as "Various Artists" however, but file the albums under one of the artists in the album. This is the case in both SS 6.5.4 and the latest SC7.
I have ensured that there are no funny tags which could change the behavior, as far as I can tell. And when I convert the files to mp3:s (using dbpoweramp), they are correctly identified as "Various Artists" albums. I enclose the logs from a scan of the mp3:s and the m4a:s respectively. As you can see, the result is different depending on whether its mp3:s or m4a:s. The scan is made with SS 6.5.4, but as I said, the problem still exists in SC7.
