Thanks for your reply. I have been experiencing this behavior since the October 14 nightly (the first one I tried). Currently I am using:
SqueezeCenter Version: 7.0 - 14944 - Windows XP - EN - cp1252 This was a clean installation. I just retested changing the music folder on the Basic Settings tab and when I clicked Save Settings, a rescan occurred. I should mention that it is a "Clear library and rescan everything" scan even though that option was not chosen.
