Yes of course, it should always have the same playlist. Are you updating it every day? Are you rescanning? (I thought the current playlist survived a rescan now though.) Have you set a playlist folder and are the permissions set appropriately? If you mean delete, no, SC (and SS) will never touch any of your files. This is by design to prevent an error from wiping your entire music library.
