Check out Settings - Players - Audio - Power On Resume. You can have it resume play where it left off as soon as you turn the player on, without you having to press anything in the web interface at all. As for SC turning the player on and starting play automatically, do you realize how many irritated users that would cause? :-) Also why are you starting/stopping SC?
