Well, that's a different issue; one which I also support. The tarballs and RPMs can be re-created from the svn repo, and the yum repo information re-built from the contents of the repo itself. So yes, it makes sense to only check in changes to the .spec file, the build scripts, and of course change to the source itself. Perhaps the build script should dump state somewhere and only rebuild if anything has changed since the last build?
