You can fix the scanner (I think) by editing
/usr/share/perl5/Slim/Music/Import.pm and adding the following lines
after line 140:
} elsif (-x '/usr/sbin/squeezecenter-scanner') {
$command = '/usr/bin/squeezecenter-scanner';
(that should be right after the /usr/libexec/squeezecenter-scanner
check).
ill check that into code in a bit, once i fix the other stop bug that
you mentioned...
